after

After your session, I go home with a memory card chock full of your images to sort through.

I cull all images that are blurry, blinkers, or general nopeness. I average about 75 keepers per shooting hour depending on participants and environment. I do a little cropping and light global color correction on these.

This process takes me 1-3 weeks to complete, depending on my current workload.

When I’m done, I’ll contact you to set a date and place for your proofs reveal meeting.

First, at your proofs reveal meeting, you’ll choose about 10% of the proofs for me to edit individually.

Some of the edits I may do depend on the image, but here are some options I may choose: individualized color correction, lower highlights, lighten shadows, heal blemishes, add a light vignette (that’s not a salad dressing), convert to black & white, add text… these are just a few examples, I edit specifically to each of those images. If you want something specific on an image you choose, tell me. I’ll do my best to get you the image you want.

This process takes me 1-2 weeks to complete, depending on my current workload.

When I’m done, I’ll contact you to set a date and place for your final reveal meeting.

Are you ready? Because this is the BEST part.

Next, at your final reveal meeting, I’ll show you your edited images. I’ll show you examples of prints, mattes, frames, and other products available to be graced with your images. You may get prints and products from any of your images, not just the edited ones. We’ll compile your order.

Payment for your products will be due at this meeting. Cash or check works great. I do have a PayPal card swiper, but it adds a fee on the transaction that cash/check do not. I’ll get your order submitted right away. Depending on the products you order, I may be contacting multiple vendors. I’ll let you know an approximate delivery date for your order depending on the vendor.

Last, we’ll set a date to get together, either Skype or meet at the place of your choice, to wrap up your session. This is super important, so please don’t blow me off.

I’d like to discuss your experience and make sure you’re absolutely delighted with our time together.

I would like to hear what I did well, and what you wish I would have done differently, if anything.

If there is anything at all that would cause you to hesitate to give me a five star review and tell your friends about me, I want to know, and I want to make it right.

Only after you’re absolutely satisfied, I’ll ask if you’d be willing to write me a testimonial.

I sincerely appreciate your telling your friends that you were totally happy with your experience with the green cheetah photo & design!
